Has anyone Successfully been able to back up TRUE CRIME??

I have YET to find someone who has been successfull in backing this game up! I am in dire need of backing this game up as it has a few scratches on it (my kids got to it) and skips on certain points in the game.

If ANYONE has been able to do this can you PLEASE post how!
      Thanks!

I was also able to back up True crime (pal).

      I used RECORDNOW MAX 4.50.

The discs im using seem to have no problem booting
in my PS2. TheY are DATAWRITE RED DVDR.

To play my back-ups i use the -
SLIDE TOOL and SWAP MAGIC 2.0 DISCS.

Although i do need to use CDLOADER with my swap
magic disc to get true crime to play.

      Hope this helps.

Also were can i get the pictures and diagrams for messiah2
      chipped version 9 consoles.

      thx

I think more importantly, what modchip/boot method are you using ?

Does it matter if the dvd is a -r or a +r? curently using memorex 4xrw dvd+r w/same problem. Also the disc looks to only have a partial burn on it.
      thanks,

The partial burn may be what's causing the problem. On the newer version of the ps2 it doesn't REALLY matter if you use + or -. Even with that being said I would go with the -R.
