recordnow max problems

i just started to backup my ps2 dvd games and have run into serveral snags but this last one has stumped me. i purchased a nts -/+ burner which is accepted by record now max. i can load the game files to the hard drive with no problems. when i insert my blank disc and start the record half way through it gives me an error-10 at sector 32-command: 2a sense:05asc:30ascq:05 which it states in the error codes that cannot write medium incompatible format. what do i try at this point?

try burning with another disk brand...moreover,try burning @ a lower speed & make sure u're not running any concurrent progs in the background

thanks for the advice it worked at a slower speed, except now i can't get the game to load correctly. i have modded my ps2 and have swap discs, and a flip top cover so that's not the prob. plus i can load cdrom games. i'm thinking its the brand of disc that i'm burning to. i've been using fuji. what brand do you recomend?

For my PS2 back ups I always use any disks with Ritek dye, bit more expensive but for me worth the few extra pence.

Mind you it also depends on what cd/dvd player you have in your PSX2 as there are 3 kinds and some play different types mine for instance will only use Verbatim and one other but i cannopt remember

Verbatim does not make ANY CD-R or DVD+-R media... just stamps some..so you may find some more you can actually use. Just try to find the actual media maker (eg read the disk ATIP).
