      nero for dvd ps2 backup

Has anyone used nero 5.5 to back up ps2 dvd games

PS2 has got a magic 3.1 modchip in it

I am using a pioneer 105 and have no prob with movies or cdr using dvd decryptor and clonecd

have read lots of post saying using record.... software but want to avoid buying another one if i can.

Datawrite DVD's seem fine for all the stuff i have tried so far in terms of movies.

Thanks in advance for your help!

      Tony

You can use Nero for PS2 DVD (and CD) backup.

It backs-up some games fine, but others it has problems with.

I personally use RecordNow Max for PS2 DVD backup, and on the two occasions when I have had problems with this application I used Nero with no problems.

For tutorials, if it is not listed in the link from The-poacher then have a butchers at this DVD tutorial or this CD tutorial

I use Prassi primo 2.0. It is pretty simple and there guides that are for newb available over the net. IT is very simple.

If you are a legit Nero user, you should ask for support from Ahead GMBH... I think they will offer some.
If you are NOT a legit Nero user, you should start to think about another mastering program, which is in any case the best solution (especially since you won't have to mourn about money paid in vain- like myself, for instance...).

I have the same ps2 version(7), Magic 3.1 and pioneer 105 and use Nero 5.5 for my back ups and so far I haven't got any problems.
