I use nero to back up my mp3's, 700mb per disk, just drag and drop them in and burn as data, average 200 songs per disk.
6 Cdr's will back the lot up, just do them one at a time, it don't take long.
There is a bar at the bottom that shows how much space is left on the disk.
If I have misunderstood you question, Sorry.

sorry, I don't know any prog that can do it...anyway It's quite strange you want to do it that way 'cause results are the same
      Make 6 folders with 700 mb each...and burn...so easy, isn't it ?

winoncd does overspan burning. It will burn 4 gig on cd's & u can designate how much space u want each cd to hold. It'll also put some auto run file on there.
