AVI Volume
Hi,
Just joined this site as have a problem with avi files and the sound. When I convert an AVI file back to DVD (MPEG) format, the actual volume of the sound gets quieter, although the quality stays the same. I have been using Mainconcpet MPEG Encoder. Does anyone have any ideas? Ta, Dave |

Really dont know what the problem is??But i converted tons of movies using cm tutorial with dvd2svcd and cce as encoder....Just stick to something which is working 100000%
Also people have been reported nice things about filmmashine Check the video section,tuts... Back to toping did you use some gain reducing????Couse i remember in dvd2svcd you got a settings to ""normalize""a sound if its clipping??Maybe thats a reason why is it quieter..

There don't really seem to be any audio settings in MainConcept to control audio gain, etc. however it converts via dshow so the audio should be the same volume as it is when you playback via dshow.
