what software to use to splice together audio files.

i have extracted audio from some vob files that tmpgenc won't encode and i want to splice together the audio which is now in a wave format. does anyone know which software to use for this. i have five audio files 1-5 that i want to splice back together in the same order .thanks for your help.

Any audio editor, e.g Audacity (freeware).
