Buffer underruns

I have a Samsung SW-248 B cd writer (48-16-48) and was getting Buffer Underruns. After an eternity I solved the problem. You see an option for CD TEXT.... dont use it....

most buffer underuns can be avoided by ticking BURN PROOF in options or do little or nothing when burning to avoid interupting the data flow mid burn ! or at least reduce it to a minimum

the less hd activity the better if your system is not hi spec processor/ram

CD TEXT should not make much difference to a burn apart from it gives TEXT information to a music cd that displays visually when used in a compatible CD TEXT device

most common causes of buffer under runs are anti virus programs that hog resources or scan on demand that can slow the hd down as it scans each and every file as its accessed

There is absolutely no realation between CD-Text and the buffer underrun mechanism, which is turned on by default. You must have blundered somewhere else.
