Lightbulb Protected Audio CDs

I suppose I'm not the first person that has bought a music cd that doesn't play in the car... So I've done my homework and I've searched the net to find a workaround but haven't found any... Don't tell me that there isn't anybody out there that hasn’t tried this:

1. Make an image of the disc with CloneCD
(You’ll notice the two sessions on the disc)
Make sure you make a .ccd

2. Load the .ccd with DAEMON Tools
(You'll notice that DAEMON doesn't care about the phony session)

3. Copy the freshly loaded CD or rip directly to mp3s

Just to pay back the infinite amount of info I've had from this forum...

Couldn't you just tick the only read first session option in CloneCD?

AHAH! So far my field of expertise in CloneCD...

But still unable to find that option in CloneCD, you wouldn't by any chance have a little screenshot of where to find this option?

Why not using an audio ripper like EAC instead of CloneCD?

Greetings from

Does it also works with hardware that's unsupported by other programs?
I mean,if your hardware supports reading of protected audio, you don't need a special program or setting to rip the cd......you can even rip with Easy CD Creator..
