It's a program or programs (like Gator for example) that install on your Hard Drive and secretly spies on your computer habits (especially your web habits) and reports them back to a company. Sometimes the spyware is just used for advertising. But in the case of company Doubleclick, they try to attach a face (name, address, email) to your surfing habits. Download AdAware 5.62 and run it. You will be suprised at how much you already have on your system.

I have Ad Aware installed and my vote goes to:
AudioGalaxy
It works really fine !
Some of my mates are happier with KazAa/Morpheus, I guess that is bcz they have a cable conneciton, and I am still fighting with ISDN
