Try copying with clone to remove protection, and then rip mp3 from that copy.

Have seen this subject posted before but have lost the thread.
Need to rip to mp3 "Shakira - Laundry Service" but is protected, i beleive that you can replace the file cdrom.sys to get around this problem, can anyone help?

Many thanks for the reply, the only problem is the Windows its self cannot read/recognise the CD.
Any more ideas guys?
Tried EAC prog didn't even see there was a CD there at all!!
Will copy with clone then give it another got, thanks for your help.
Had a similar problem but Nero could see the CDA's, so ripped directly from there, could be worth a try
Try using CDex.
It worked for me.
Try Riping them on to you hard drive with FreeRip From downloads.com then burning to another cd

Maybe the -nomultisession switch is what you need. I can't say I've tried this though.Some drives make problems reading TOC informations from CDs. As version 0.85 beta has some more features regarding the TOC, I implemented two more command line options to help on problems when starting EAC or inserting a CD. You could use
-nocdtext
-nomultisession
and it again it is possible to combine any of the command line options.
