I have heard about a new free antivirus that is available to download in panda website(Beta Zone)!!!!!i've tried it and it is very good...it is true that i am not a professional!!!

It's not "free" like AVG 6 free (basic), Avast (home, free licence - 1 year + renewable), or Antivir PE.

You have to sign up as a beta tester, though it looks like a formality - not sure if you can expect to have continuous coverage as a Beta tester (eg. you roll on continuously to susequent betas) - or if the beta is a time limited one-off deal.

Avast! home licence is 14 months, not 12, and directly renewable, and there is also the Win frontend for the very good opensource Clam antivirus (on-demand scanning only).

Etrust's v.7 Promo edition (also completely free and non-beta) doesn't feature at their site now, but can still be downloaded from several sources- just consult Filemirrors.
