      Burning with EAC

I want to burn live concerts that I have in mp3 format and i want to put them without silence beetween tracks... I change the 2 seconds default space beetween tracks to not have silence to 0 but EAC give me an error... is there any way to do that kind of recording in EAC ???

      Thank's

I always convert mp3 to wav before burning...
The problem is that when I edit the space beetween tracks from 2 to 0 seconds it give me an error.... It must be 0.00.01 seconds??? Problably 0.00.00 seconds is impossible???

i'm not using EAC so i can't tell you, if 0 s are possible or impossible

but i have another solution: before burning, use an Audio Editor (e.g. WaveLab) to make only one coherent great *.wav from the separate titles

You can try Nero. With nero only the first track must have a 2 seconds space. (CD-standard)
      Set the others to 0.

I am not sure but i think with nero you can burn your mp3´s direct to the cd (dao mode)

      AFAIK: 2 seconds before the first track is standard; between the tracks there must not be a pause;

      correct me if i'm wrong

In EAC, have you tried unchecking the option to add a 2 second gap on append?

If it doesn't generate a valid format, then you may need it enabled for the first track only.

You may also DELETE the selected index (gap), rather than adjust it.

I finally saw it... In the layout menu we can desactivate the 2 seconds pre-gap... Know it works ok... and sound better than in nero... i use nero but only for data...

      Thank's

if you are burning plain wav`s (pcm)..
      you can use this attachment..

      yup...

mxcdr.. is the engine you find in ex: samplitude and magix
products.. so i would say on particular wav... yes..
the only thing that makes EAC so pop.. is the
error correction.. or C2 if you like.. the de-glitch
opperation in eac.. exists as a standalone util..
(DeGlitch.exe) but is actually working mutch better..
      the adress is:
      h**p//home.wanadoo.nl/~w.speek/deglitch.htm

so i would recomend this for audio:

      CDex to ripp....... to wav/mp3
(with lame.. (alt-preset extreme) for mp3..)

(CDex with mad decoder for decoding mp3..)

EX: wavegain and deglitch as fix tools...

      mxcdr for burning the wav`s

as of the dll file.. dl. the attatched...
      (plase it in the system..)

      yup...

      pardon...

i think the mxcdr.zip i attached.. is the program only...
here is the dll`s to go with it...

just run winzip and extract to your system directory...
      and reboot...

      btw.
lett me know how it works.. then i maybe would make
      a installer for it.

      yup...

      once again... sorry.. (insomnia..!!)

for decoding a mp3... use the mad decoder (bundle)
(i said cdex with mad plug.. but`s a fat typo..)

for decoding of the mp3 format.. mad do the best job..

The mxcdr looks simple... but I hadn't tried yet....
The space beetween traks ption is excellent...

About the mad decoder.. do you use it with winamp?? Or is there another way to convert with mad???
