      soft to record audio cd directly from line-in of sound card

      is there any soft to record an audio cd directly ftom the line-in of an audio card without making a wav file on hdd ????

      (I remember cdspin doctor in easy cd creator.....but something stand-alone????)

      I don't quite understand your question. Are you wanting to burn the CD at the same time the audio source is coming in through your sound card?

      I dont really understand the question.
      So i will take a 2 way approach

      the answer to your question is NO.
      When you record from line-in its saved as either .wav or .mp3 depending on what software and what setting you use.

      If you want to burn a cd with the sound that is coming in through the line-in then that is also impossible. You have to save the file to hdd 1st.
