It's often used in CD-Rom/CDRW/DVD benchmarking articles to show a drive's DAE quality and extraction speed.
I use it in CD-ROM's that Exact Audio Copy won't work properly with (not very many).
Mind you its not as good as EAC, but it's still a good proggie nevertheless.
And Discjuggler has good DAE engine, and if you have a plextor
go for plextools![]()
