I am using CoolEdit Pro for recording from audio tapes to computer. I have one (big) problem: how can I get rid of clicks in the beginning and at the end of record? I trid to silence the selected part, but the clicks appered again. Tried to cut them off, but no result. :-(
Help me! What to do?
I have tried it with EAC, but it was no solution, too.

Please post the config of your rig and how are made your external connections, I see you already had this problem and changed to cooledit so there must be something wrong wich is not related to the app.

But there were clicks anywhere in the recordings before and now they are only at very beginning and very end of it.
I may post you my config only this weekend.
Connection is made from my tape recorder's headphode connector (3.5" jack) to my line-in connector in my sound card, by original cable (jack-jack).
