      How do I play AC-3 (Dolby)file

      managed to encode a series of wave files and now wonder how I can play the file Is there any special software or converter? thanks

      Installed the above but I am still not too sure as to whether I have installed it right or not because it's still not playing n Win98SE
      Plays *.avi files ok but I don't know where the other two bundled in
      AC3CODEC.ZIP (an exe and dll)go.

      Can you help further please?

      I used Wavelab to encode wav to mono then mounted the file to seratye channels in Multichanel.Dolby.Encoder.Decoder.v1.1a to create an AC-3 file. It supposes to be a stand alone program but the file generated is an AC-3 but after that don't know what steps to take.
