5.1 and DTS in optical output for Audigy ??

      hi

my friend have the Audgiy platinum and a great home theater system and he just want to see how is the Audigy in these thing.

so we connect the optical cable in the output and it's work and we are using WinDVD and PowerDVD (latest) and the problem is that the sound is not digital and the amp say it's PRO LOGIC SOUND and not DD or DTS !!!

how can we listen with a Digital optical sound ???

when we are connect the optical cable to the DVD-Player it's turn automatic to a 5.1 or DTS but with Audigy it's still analog nad the rear channels doesn't work.

(we are using optical cable from the front device that come with Audigy)

      thanks.............

      This could solve your problem:

in power dvd go to configure settings and in the audio tab you can find the audio output, set this to spdif and then try again.
