      Near field monitors

      I'm planning to buy a new set of monitors for a little studio that I have with a friend , does any1 out there have any suggestions about wich ones are better.

      I'm planning to spend $800 to $1000 us

      right now I've only heared the Roland DS-90a and they seem good

      I hear lots of good things about Genelec monitors - though i haven't personally heard them in action.

      I'm using Tannoy Revolution R2, wich has a clear clean sound, good for near/far mixing. It's an alleater and can be connected as bewired. Costs around $300,-
