      acid loops -- where??

Hey..just wondering where any of you guys go to find some loop-d-loops for Acid. Very slow on ed2k...and no luck on usenet binaries.

Also looking for Reason Refills too if you have any ideas...

      Thanks!

Acid loops are tough, most of the ones I have came after
many hours of haunting WinMX and eDonkey. Don't know
of any real sites other than the demo loops at the Acid
      home page.

But, Reason refills?? A whole 'nother story. Check these
      links out.......

      h**p://www.reasonrefills.com/
      h**p://www.freewebs.com/dorumalaia/myfreerefills.htm
      h**p://www.reason-why.net/htmls/news_refill.html
      h**p://www.reasonfreaks.com/
      h**p://reason.fan.free.fr/
      h**p://getimo.de/linkpage2/html/reasonarea.php
      h**p://www.soundbank.hu/

This should be enough to get you started. Most of these sites
will also have other stuff, like subtractor and NN19 patches,
      REX files, and so on.

Some of these sites can be hit or miss, so you may have to
try more than once to get to them.

      Good hunting!!!!

      I've got millions from alt.binaries.sounds.samples.music.
If you're in the u.k. i can send you loads of full acid sample loops cd's + refills + akai - pretty much anything you want. In fact i suppose i can send them internationally as well.
      Peace

MadJohn - yeah, I've been to a couple of those Reason sites, but a few of them I haven't...will definitely take a look at 'em. Thanks!

Deft - I don't know if it's just me, but sure doesn't seem like alot of Acid Loops floating around on alt.binaries like they used to.

With the collection you have, you ought to get on say...Direct Connect and start a "hub" with your Acid/Samples Collection and "swap" with everyone else. I've got a few loops myself, but not near the collection your's sounds to be.

Hmmm...that's an idea....start a DC hub, but purely music...samples/loops/plugins, etc... now wouldn't that be a hoot!

      Cheers,
      sl

Not too up on DC.......how does it work?
I run my DSL connection as an FTP server mainly for apps for friends - i'd chuck the disc iso's on there but they're so big it's easier for me to burn them and send them in the post.
Let me get a list together and see if we can sort something out.

Cool Deft...well, in fact, I've got a few of those except the full Bill Laswell collection and few others. To be honest, I would probably be hesitant to swap CD's thru the mail...just on the fact due to the nature of this forum....I'm sure you would be too, but we ought to meet in somewhere online...like Direct Connect and swap from there.

Let me think about it and I'll think of a plan....

      Great collection....
