Recording classical music for car use

I have a problem with recording classical music for use in my car. Classical music items commonly have a volume range from ppp to fff and because of the ******t sound in the car I have to constantly re-adjust the volume control.
What settings can I use during sound editting with cep2 or Sound Forge 6 to adjust the recorded volume to correct this problem?
      Any suggestions gratefully received.
      Bazza.

Thanks, Pokopiko, for your very speedy reply.
Obviously you're a classical music purist
So am I. In fact I present classical music on an FM radio station. I'd love to have an equaliser such as you suggest, but they tend to be too expensive! So unfortunately I'll have to adjust the recording instead, but I promise that I won't alter the range excessively!
      Thanks again, Bazza.
