I'm using cool pro four years as well. Since this spring cep 2.0.
At June I bought Atlon XP 1800, at Soltek motherboard with 256 DDR 2700. Since then I have problems with cep. When I save wav inside wav I got holes (cca 1 second). Imagine, I got songs with a lot of holes...![]()
I uinstall CEP2.0, install again CEP1.2a and noticed same thing...
I checked 'Force flushing' but nothing happened...
Is it a problem with DDR, procesor, WinXP (now with SP1) or...
Anyone can help me?

Never noticed it again after that
OK. I've been investigate faq's about my motherboard (Soltek 75DRV5) and ddr (Kingmax) and I found that you have to be very careful with setings...
Now I fix it and everything is fine...
